There are a number of state-run mental health services available in the upstate of South Carolina. Listed below is the contact information for a number of them.
Recognizing the need for community-based services, our 33 local providers offer a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment services. These single and multi-county providers offer services in all 46 counties of South Carolina. Each year, more than 50,000 individuals receive direct intervention and/or treatment services from our agencies.803.252.7004
The Greenville Mental Health Center is a facility of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and provides quality mental health Services to adults, children, adolescents, and their families. Problems can usually be treated without hospitalization and we make every effort to minimize disruption of jobs and home life.864.241.1040

DAODAS offers a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment services through a community-based system of care. Although services are coordinated at the state level through DAODAS, the department in turn subcontracts with 33 county alcohol and drug abuse authorities to provide direct services to citizens in all 46 counties of the state.803.896.5555
